Firefly is trying to shake up the budget smartphone category. Their latest offering, the Firefly Mobile X622 and X626, pack some impressive credentials on their spec sheet that we rarely see in this price range.
Both the Firefly Mobile X622 and X626 share pretty identical hardware and design. The duo rocks a 5.5-inch Full HD display — a rear feat on the sup-Php10k space. They also have an 8-megapixel selfie camera, IR blaster, and above all, the MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor.
And despite all the power that is equipped with, we’re impressed that Firefly didn’t house them on some cheap plastic case. Instead, the company was still able to put everything in an all-metal, elegant body.
The only difference between the two is the rear camera and RAM configurations. The Firefly Mobile X622 has a 3GB RAM and a 16-megapixel rear camera. On the other hand, the Firefly Mobile X626 gets at bumped up RAM capacity at 4GB and a higher 21-megapixel shooter at the back.
On the downside, it only runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is kinda outdated nowadays.
