Gionee P7

Gionee has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone – the P7.

Over two months ago, the company has also launched the P7 Max which was more powerful than this one. The Gionee P7 has a slightly smaller 5-inch 720p screen with Soda Lime protection – a poor man’s Gorilla glass. On the inside, there’s a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. It runs on Amigo 3.2 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow underneath the hood.

Nothing fancy in the camera department, with its 8-megapixel primary shooter and 5-megapixel secondary in front. All typical smartphone connectivity options like LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS are also present here.

Overall, it’s kinda overpriced for what it has to offer. There are lots of other options with better hardware at this price point.

The Gionee P7 is priced at Rs. 9,999 ($148) or approximately Php7,400 before taxes and fees. It’s now avaialable in India in grey, white, and latte gold colors.
