HMD immediately brought one of its own-branded smartphones to the Philippines just days after it was unveiled internationally. On its official Facebook page, it unveiled the local price of the HMD Pulse Pro, which will be exclusively available on Shopee.
The HMD Pulse Pro is the best of HMD’s first line-up, leading the vanilla Pulse and Pulse Plus. This one has a sharper 50-megapixel selfie camera and twice the charging speed at 20W.
But like the Pro, it uses a humble UNISOC T606 octa-core processor, with two RAM and storage options available in the Philippines: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
It also has a decent 6.65-inch IPS display with a low HD+ resolution but a high 90Hz refresh rate. Audio is provided by a single loudspeaker.
The battery has the usual 5,000mAh capacity. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security.
Like its cousins from Nokia, it runs on a clean version of Android 14 and is guaranteed to receive 2 OS upgrades in the future.
The HMD Pulse Pro 6GB/128GB/Black Ocean and 8GB/256GB/Twilight Purple have an SRP of Php8,399 and Php9,699 on the Nokia Official Flagship Store on Shopee Mall. With vouchers, you can get them for as low as Php7,299 and Php8,399, respectively.
