HONOR has released two new sub-flagship smartphones in China called the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro.
The HONOR 200 and 200 Pro share a couple of similarities. For one, they have identical sizes as they both use the same 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,200mAh non-removable battery with speedy 100W wired charging. You can easily tell them apart by the pill-shaped notch on the Pro as it has two front cameras, while the vanilla only has one.

Both models also have 50-megapixel main cameras. However, the 200 Pro has a fancier custom H9000 1/1.3-inch sensor based on the Omnivision OV50H. It also has an f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization. That’s essentially the same sensor found on the Magic6 Pro, which used to be the best camera phone in the market after it was overtaken by the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra.
Meanwhile, the vanilla HONOR 200 uses a 50-megapixel 1/5.6-inch IMX906 from Sony, which has a similar f/1.9 aperture and also has OIS.

The duo also shares a 50-megapixel IMX856 sensor for the 2.5x telephoto camera. HONOR even teamed up with Harcourt, a French photography studio, for the new Harcourt Portrait Mode that can mimic professional studio lighting using AI.
They also have the same 12-megapixel ultra-wide/macro lens and a sharp 50-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies, with an extra 2-megapixel front depth sensor for the Pro.

As expected, the key difference between the two is the processors. The HONOR 200 Pro uses the latest sub-flagship chip from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the HONOR 200 uses a midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
The Pro model exclusively has 66W wireless charging and a dedicated HONOR C1+ chip that improves wireless connectivity.

Those who are in China can get the HONOR 200 Pro for a price of CNY3,499 (~Php28,000) for the 12GB/256GB model, CNY3,799 (~Php30,400) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY3,999 (~Php32,000) for the 16GB/512GB, and CNY4,499 (~Php36,000) for the 16GB/1TB.
Meanwhile, HONOR 200 has a price of CNY2,499 (~Php20,000) for the 8GB/256GB, CNY2,699 (~Php21,600) for the 12GB/256GB, CNY2,999 (~Php24,000) for the 12GB/512GB and 16GB/256GB, and CNY3,199 (~Php25,600) for the 16GB/512GB model. They will be available in China on May 31 while the global launch event is scheduled for June 12 in Paris.
