Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is now available on multiple platforms.

Developed by about 80 developers at Ninja Theory, the game is a continuation of the story from the original Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Set in Viking-era Iceland, the titular character embarks on a journey to free her enslaved people, overcoming supernatural threats and rejecting a cycle of fear and control to embrace her destiny.

Available as a digital-only game, Hellblade II is priced at $49.99 on Xbox Series X|S. The game can also be played on PC, with official system requirements requiring a relatively modern hardware to run the game at a decent frame rate. It has been also available on the Game Pass for both Xbox and PC since its launch on May 21.

Based on Ninja Theory’s teasers and previews—and confirmed by initial reviews from various gaming publications—Hellblade II is a visual marvel. It delivers an immersive experience, expertly integrating advanced graphic technologies and lifelike details.

Characters are modeled after real people with historically accurate costumes. Performance captures bring realistic movement to these digital characters. The game also retains the psychological horror elements from the previous game, with a significant focus on Senua dealing with her psychosis.
