Honor’s latest flagship line has been announced, and there’s more to the new Honor 50 and 50 Pro than their fancy specs list.

Honor’s separation from Huawei is finally bearing fruits. The Honor 50 and 50 Pro will finally have Google Mobile Services (GMS) support. This means users can finally have access to Google apps and other features. Both models run on Android 11-based Magic UI 4.2 software.

Both models are also the first to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with Adreno 642L GPU.

The Honor 50 series is as good as it looks. The Honor 50 Pro features an enormous 6.72-inch screen with all the bells and whistles: 10-bit AMOLED panel and 120H refresh rate.

There’s a pill-shaped notch for the dual selfie camera. While on the back, There’s a unique camera design like we’ve never seen before. It holds the ultra-sharp 108-megapixel main camera taking the top ring. Below it are the three other sensors and the LED flash.

Meanwhile, the Honor 50 is almost the same. Only this time, it has a middle punch-hole for the single selfie camera. The display itself is slightly smaller at 6.57-inches.

The Honor 50 starts at CNY2,699 (around Php20,300), while the 50 Pro has a price of CNY3,699 (around Php27,800). It will be initially available in China, alongside the Honor 50 SE. Honor also confirmed it’s coming in 40 other markets, possibly also here in the Philippines.
