HONOR has a new high-end smartphone with the HONOR 80 GT.
The HONOR 80 GT joins the existing HONOR 80 Pro and HONOR 80. It may appear as the top dog, but the Pro variant is actually more feature-packed than this one.
Still, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which is one of the most powerful in the market today. It can be paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, with no other storage option but 256GB.
The CPU is attached to a 4,386mm2 vapor chamber, 1,415 copper wires, and a 75mm graphene sheet for better cooling.
On the front, we have a fancy 6.67-inch OLED screen with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 1,400-nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 10-bit color.
Around the back, we have a 54-megapixel IMX800 main sensor that’s 1/1.49-inch in size and has an f/1.9 aperture. But the party stops there as the ultra-wide only uses a standard 8-megapixel shooter. There’s also a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 16-megapixel on the front.
It then ships with a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Sadly, it still comes with Android 12-based Magic UI 7.0. Still, being a high-end device, it should still come with Android 13 OS.

The HONOR 80 GT has a price of CNY3,299 (~Php26,400) and CNY3,599 (~Php28,800) for the 12GB/256GB and 16GB/256GB, respectively. Obviously, it will be available initially available in China, but it should also arrive in the global market soon.
