The HTC One S finally arrived in the Philippines and will now go on sale for Filipinos to buy. The One S’s availability was slightly delayed because HTC felt that the market didn’t need it during the time of the HTC One X launch. Now, they finally launch it together with its cousins in the Desire Family – HTC Desire C and HTC Desire V.
The HTC One S features a Dual-core Snapdragon S4 (or S3 processor with 1.7GHz reports say, not yet certain) processor clocked at 1.5GHz which gives a very responsive operation combined with a bright and sharp graphics with its 4.3” Corning™ Gorilla Glass Super AMOLED screen display. The glass screen also gives beautiful viewing angles which allow the user to be comfortable in viewing HD pictures and videos by making it usable in any position the user desires.
The operating system on board is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (it will get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean probably) together with HTC Sense™ 4, the latest among HTC’s very own skin, and Beats Audio™ technology to take care of the multimedia sound performance of the phone. The HTC Sense will come up with new camera capabilities that can shoot a solid picture in just a snap through the help of HTC ImageSense technology. It will not let you miss a meaningful and precious moment again with its very fast 0.2 second autofocus and 0.7 second camera shot! And after all the picture perfect moments, you can upload them straight to the cloud with the free 25GB storage from Dropbox for 2 years! Awesome, eh?
