HTC has launched a new smartphone, the HTC U23, that comes pre-installed with VIVERSE app that is also compatible with a VIVE mixed reality headset.
The new HTC U23 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s a large 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen on the front, with an FHD+ pixel resolution.
A sharp 32-megapixel selfie camera peeks from a punch-hole on the top of the screen. On the back, there’s a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A fingerprint scanner is on the side.
It ships with a 4,600mAh battery, 30W wired fast charging, and 15W wireless charging. The device is also IP67 dust and waterproof for protection.
The HTC U23 will be available in Taiwan come July 25th, with the price set to be unveiled on the said date.
