HUAWEI went to Barcelona and announced a bunch of new devices. There’s the new HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition, the flagship Freebuds Pro 3 earphones, and the sequel to the Eyewear smart glasses.

First, we have the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edtion. It’s essentially the same as the first MatePad 11.5 2023 that we’ve seen before. Only this time, it has a nano-etched display coating that they claim can provide a paper-like feel when used with the 2nd-gen M-Pencil stylus. Plus, it has a much-reduced glare to keep your eyes safe if you like reading for hours.

Everything else is the same. It still uses an 11.5-inch TFT LCD screen with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It’s also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 4G chipset, has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, 13-megapixel on the rear, a 7,700mAh battery, 22.5W charging, and HarmonyOS 3.1 interface.

The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition will be available in select markets starting September 9 at a price of EUR499 (~Php30,200). Its official price in the Philippines is yet to be known.
