As scheduled, Infinix has officially announced two new smartphones in India — the Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro.
These two handsets are very similar to each other aside from a small difference in camera setup. Both phones have a 6.6-inch HD+ screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, and punch hole cutout for the 8-megapixel selfie camera.
For the other cameras, there’s a 13-megapixel primary shooter for the Hot 9 and 48-megapixel main sensor for the Hot 9 Pro, plus a 2-megapixel low light, 2-megapixel depth, and 2-megapixel macro lens. On the back, a capacitive fingerprint scanner is used for security purposes.
Powering these devices are MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor together with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. While it’s certainly not a powerful configuration, the good news is they are running on the latest Android 10 and Infinix’s XOS 6.0 skin. Battery capacity is 5,000mAh and it supports 10W charging.
The Infinix Hot 9 series will come in violet and blue colors. The basic Hot 9 costs INR8,499 (~Php5,700) while the Pro variant is priced at INR9,499 (~Php6,400). Take note that these prices are direct price conversations, so they might be more expensive if they get released in the Philippines.
