Infinix Note 12 G96 launched in the Philippines

Infinix brings another bang-for-the-buck smartphone to the Philippines, the new Note 12 G96.

First introduced back in May, the new Infinix Note 12 G96 has been deprived with 5G connectivity and a high refresh rate screen. Still, the rest of the specs look pretty interesting, especially for a device under Php10,000.

For starters, the new Note 12 boasts an enormous 6.7-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution. Besides its large size, it also uses a colorful and vibrant AMOLED panel, which is rare in this price range.

The Note 12 also comes with a sharp 50-megapixel main camera joined by a depth sensor. It is situated on a camera island that complements the overall clean and elegant design of the device.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, a chipset made for budget gaming. It is paired with 8GB of RAM which you can boost with an additional 5GB by borrowing from the internal storage.

Speaking of which, you can get the Note 12 with either 128GB or a generous 256GB of expandable storage.

On the software side, the new Note 12 ships with the latest Android 12 operating system with the brand’s XOS 10.6 interface.

If those are not enough, the device also comes with a 33W fast charger for its 5,000mAh battery, a 10-layer graphene cooling system for the chipset, a linear motor tactile system for haptics, and stereo speakers with DTS audio.

The Infinix Note 12 G96 has an SRP of Php8,999 and Php9,999 in the Philippines for the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models, respectively. Exclusively available on Shopee, you can get them with launch prices of only Php8,299 and Php9,299, respectively, on June 13 from 12 AM to 9 AM. Buyers will also receive a limited edition PUBG box and case.
