Infinix Note 12 G96: 6.7-inch AMOLED, 5000mAh battery, 50MP camera

Infinix has introduced the Note 12 series, which includes the Note 12 G96.

A cheaper option to the Note 12 VIP, the Infinix Note 12 G96 is powered by — you guessed it — a MediaTek Helio G96 processor. Which is actually the same as the more expensive variant. It is paired with 8GB of RAM with extra 5GB via virtual RAM expansion. Although, the storage was cut in half at 128GB from 256GB.

The key difference lies in the camera and charging. Instead of a 108-megapixel main shooter, this one has a 50-megapixel sensor. It also lacks an ultra-wide lens, but does come with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

It also has a 33W fast charging, which is noticeably slower than the VIP’s 120W. On the upside, it has a larger 5,000mAh battery.

The Note 12 G96 also lacks a high refresh rate support but still has a large and fancy 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. Stereo speakers are also still here with dual X-axis linear motors.

The Infinix Note 12 G96 retails for USD199 (around Php10,400) in select markets. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be announced. You can choose between three colors: Force Black, Sapphite Blue, Force Black. All of which have gold rungs surrounding the cameras for extra premium touch.
