Infinix just introduced the Note 12 series that consists of two devices: the vanilla Note 12 and the one we’re taking a look at, the Note 12 VIP.

The Infinix Note 12 VIP has the fastest charging of any Infinix smartphone. It comes with a whopping 120W Hyper Charge technology, which can give a full 0 to 100 percent charge in only 17 minutes. But if you’re really in a hurry, a quick 10-minute top-up can already provide 6 hours of gaming.

That charging is for the 4,500mAh battery, which is equipped with 103 different protection feature that includes 18 temperature sensors rigged inside the phone.

Infinix claims that the device can keep 85% of its health even after 800 charge cycles.

Another “120” here is the display, which has a 120Hz refresh rate for smoothness and a 360Hz touch sampling rate for better responsiveness, especially for gaming.

If that’s not enough, the display itself is relatively large at 6.7-inches and even boasts a contrasty and colorful AMOLED panel.

Keeping the numbers on top is the main camera, which comes with an ultra-sharp 108-megapixel sensor and sits in a large camera lens with a gold ring that surrounds it for the full “VIP” feel.

Below it is the 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor. There’s also a quad-LED flash next to it. Laser autofocus is also onboard.

While it sure feels like it, the processor on the Note 12 VIP keeps it from being a flagship device. Still, it uses a relatively powerful Helio G96 octa-core processor.

There’s also the Android 12 operating system handling the software side, with Infinix’s XOS 10.6 interface on top.

The Infinix Note 12 VIP will be available in select markets for a price of USD299 (around Php15,700). The official price and availability details here in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
