Infinix has unveiled the Smart 8, a successor to the Smart 7, and appears to be a rebranded TECNO Pop 8 from its sister company.
Hence, just like the Pop 8, the Infinix Smart 8 is powered by the same UNISOC T606 octa-core processor, paired with only 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

There’s a large 6.6-inch HD+ display on the front with a high refresh rate and a punch-hole on top for the 8-megapixel selfie camera. Of course, it also has the Dynamic Island-like software overlay to show charging status, notifications, and other information.
An iPhone-like camera layout on the back holds the 13-megapixel main camera, depth sensor, and the ring LED flash.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh like everyone else, albeit ships with a slow 10W adapter.
Of course, it will run on an Android 13-based XOS 13 interface from Infinix.

The Infinix Smart 8 is listed in Nigeria for a price of NGN82,000 (~Php5,700). No word yet if it will be making its way to the Philippines.
