Itel has subtly introduced a new entry-level phone, the A60s, and it is already available in the Philippines.
The new Itel A60s, with its SRP of under Php4,000, offers a humble UNISOC SC9863A1 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM, and a surprisingly generous 128GB of storage. The brand is also bragging about its virtual RAM expansion, which can up the memory by up to 8GB for an extra performance boost.
On the front, we have a large 6.6-inch IPS screen, with only an HD+ pixel resolution — something we already expected when we saw the price.
Like most phones out today, it will have a large 5,000mAh non-removable battery. Albeit expect long charging times as it only ships with a 10W charger. Oh, and uses the microUSB standard instead of the modern USB-C.
It then has a distinct camera layout on the back holding the 8-megapixel main shooter, joined by a secondary QVGA lens. We also have the fingerprint scanner back here, with the 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Despite its humble hardware, it does come with an interesting design on the back and comes in a bunch of color options, but only Green and Black are available in the Philippines.
The Itel A60s is available in the Philippines for a price of Php3,499. You can get it at the brand’s official Shopee Mall.
