Lenovo has launched its A6600 Plus smartphone in the Philippines.
It isn’t exactly a new device, as it was first unveiled in the last quarter of 2016. But this is the first time the device is hitting the Philippines.
The Lenovo A6600 Plus comes with a minimalistic design which is in sync with the design of other Lenovo’s A-series smartphones. The handset also sports a 5-inch display and is fired up by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P CPU clocked at 1GHz and partnered with 2GB of RAM. The graphics are powered by a Mali-T720MP2 GPU and the device has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded in case the consumer needs more.
On the camera end, the sensors reflect the budget nature of the smartphone as it packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash while at the front comes with a smallish 2MP sensor. The Lenovo A6600 Plus is powered by a 2,300mAh battery while it runs Android Marshmallow OS (probably no plans for an update).
