Starmobile has gone to town with a great offer meant to excite their fans this Valentine season.

The offer entails buying both the budget Starmobile UP Ultra and the Starmobile Engage 7i tablet for as low as Php7,270.

If we should dissect the prices, the UP Ultra originally goes for Php4,990 while the Engage 71 retails for Php3,490 bringing the total to Php 8,480. So when you buy both in this bundle offer, you save Php1,210! That’s a pretty good deal, right?

Well, the offer won’t last forever as the Starmobile UP Ultra and Engage 7i will only be available from February 1 right through to February 14. There are additional freebies attached to the offer as Starmobile is in partnership with SMART Communications and they are throwing in Php4,000 worth of free data for 12 months using a prepaid SIM pre-loaded in the device. Additionally, the offer also comes with 6 months of free iflix access.

The Starmobile UP Ultra is a decent smartphone with LTE connectivity. The device also features a 5.5-inch On-Cell HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit MT6735 quad-core processor with the Mali T720-MP2 GPU powering the graphics. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera with BSI and Samsung sensor. While on the front, there is a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI.

In addition, the handset supports dual-SIM and a 2500mAh battery that will ensure that the light stays on for a long while. The UP Ultra comes in dark blue, coffee and gray colors.

Starmobile Engage 7i

One the other hand, the Starmobile Engage 7i is a 7-inch tablet which features an IPS display with 170ppi and 1024 x 600 resolution. The tablet is powered by a rare Intel SOFIA 3G-r chipset with a 1GHz Intel Atom X3 64-bit quad-core CPU. The graphic is rendered by a Mali-450 MP4 GPU. The device comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is upgradeable up to 32GB via microSD.

The camera is just fine for a tablet, packing a 5MP main sensor with LED flash at the rear and a 2MP in front. The Starmobile Engage 7i uses dual SIM cards as well and it features 3G and HSPA+ connectivity as well as WIFi, Bluetooth, USB OTG. The battery department is not impressive, though, with only 3000mAh capacity. It only runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and it probably won’t get any update beyond that.
