Lenovo subtly unveiled the new Tab M8 4th Gen by detailing its specs and showing official product shots on its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website.
While the price and availability are yet to be announced, the Lenovo Tab M8 4th Gen is clearly aimed towards the entry-level segment. It is powered by a MediaTek MT8768 octa-core processor, which can be had with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage expandable up to 1TB.
There’s a compact 8-inch HD+ display on the front with only a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It did manage to get a stereo speaker setup.
A 2-megapixel selfie camera is on the top of the display, while on the back, there’s a 5-megapixel or 8-megapixel sensor depending on which market you’d be getting it.
It then has a relatively small 5,100mAh battery, which the company claims can last for up to 13 hours of video playback. A 10W charger comes with the box.
For software, it will ship with Android 13. It will come in 4G LTE and WiFi-only versions.
Again, the official price for the Lenovo Tab M8 4th gen is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
