LG is expanding its tablet lineup in the form of an LTE-enabled variant of the 8-inch slate it released back in May. The new LG G Pad 8.0 LTE is essentially the same tablet as before, but its enhanced connectivity is aimed to please customers in emerging 4G markets.

When it comes to hardware, many features remain the same as the ones in the Wi-Fi-only G Pad 8.0. This is still an 8-inch slate with an IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, Android 4.4 KitKat, and 1GB of RAM. There are a duo of cameras (5-megapixel and 1.3-megapixel), 16GB internal storage, and the usual connectivity options besides the added 4G LTE.
