LG G2 Philippines

In case you missed it, LG Mobile Philippines recently launched their newest flagship, the LG G2. The LG G2 is an impressive combination of uncompromising power and intuitive design, resulting in a user experience that I’ve found to be one of the best I’ve seen on any of the recent flagships.

What’s especially surprising is that despite being powered by arguably the most powerful mainstream SoC to date, it still manages to retail for less than Php30k, or Php27,490 to be exact.

The LG G2 features a power-efficient 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display, 2.26GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and a choice between 16GB and 32GB storage variants. It also carries over some software features such as QuickMemo that you may have seen on its predecessors like the Optimus G and Optimus G Pro while adding on some new ones like KnockOn, Audio Zoom and Quick Translator.

What’s really interesting though about the LG G2 is the Rear Key. You see, the LG G2 is devoid of any hardware buttons save for the rear key. It’s optimally placed at the back within easy reach of your index finger, making it easier to lock or unlock the phone. Other phones usually have the lock/unlock button on the edge of the phone, sometimes on top, and sometimes on either the left or right edge of the phone. That kind of placement makes your prone to fumbling when trying to reach for the lock/unlock key and increases the tendency to drop it accidentally.

  1. The miraculous endurance of the G2 paired with a high-level screen and processor, make it one of the most tempting smartphones I’ve seen in the last six months.
