Motorola has announced two new entry-level smartphones for 2020: the Moto E and Moto G Fast.

For only $200, the Motorola G Fast is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 plus 3GB of RAM. There’s a 6.4-inch IPS Max Vision display with 1560 x 720 pixel resolution on a tall 19:9 aspect ratio. Storage is 32GB but it’s expandable in case the user needs more. For loading up its 4,000mAh battery capacity, it has a 10W charger.

The cameras are pretty similar to the Moto G8 Power. A 16-megapixel main, 2-megapixel macro, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 8-megapixel telephoto sensors. In front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera.

Other features include a fingerprint scanner on the back, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as IP52 rain and dust resistance.

The Moto E 2020 has a smaller 6.2-inch 1520 x 720 pixel resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, and 2GB of RAM. Expandable storage is also 32GB. It still uses a microUSB port and has a 3,550mAh battery.

For cameras, it has a 13-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel depth camera.

In terms of software, both phones run on almost vanilla-like version of Android 10. Motorola promises at least 1 major update for the Moto G Fast, but it doesn’t mention anything for the Moto E 2020.

The $200 Moto G Fast will be available on Amazon, B&H, Walmart, and BestBuy in the US beginning June 12. On the other hand, the Moto E 2020 is priced at $150.
