MyPhone has a slightly more affordable option for those who want a handset that’s not too heavy on the pocket.
Compared to the MyPhone my95 DTV, I have to say that it fairs very well considering it costs over Php1,000 less. It’s also got a 5-inch HD screen, together with a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. There’s only 8GB of initial storage, though, so expanding it by using a microSD card is sort of a necessity. But that wouldn’t cost much, considering cards are now relatively cheap – priced at less than Php600 for 32GB.
Probably the most interesting feature of the MyPhone my91 DTV is its rotating camera. It’s not the first time that we’re seeing something like this from a local brand, but it’s surprising that they’re bringing this feature back again even though it didn’t enjoy much popularity. It’s a niche feature that’s aimed for those who want a flexible shooter on their smartphones. Since it’s rotating, there’s only one camera – both for the front and back.
It also runs on Android Marshmallow straight from the box and it has a decently sized 2500mAh battery capacity. Like all of the other new MyPhone smartphones, it also has Digital TV feature built-in so you can watch your favorite TV shows while on the move.
