Google just announced a couple of new features that will be coming to Android and Wear OS devices this December 2022, right in time for the holiday season.
The exact release date wasn’t announced, but they did say that it will come right in time for Christmas and New Year’s. This means that these new Android and Wear OS features should arrive in the coming days or weeks.
With that, here are all the features you should expect from the December 2022 update.
Holiday-themed Styles to collage editor

The Styles have been recently added to the collage editor within Google Photos which lets you create collages you can easily share with friends and families.
For the upcoming season, Google has added new holiday-themed Styles from artists such as DABSMYLA and Yao Cheng Design.
Mash up emojis into sticker combos

New reading mode
A new accessibility feature for users who have poor vision or are dyslexic. Once installed on your device’s settings, you can customize the screen contrast, font type and size, as well as the text-to-speech function with controllable speed.
Improved YouTube home screen Search widget

Android devices now have an easier way to access content on YouTube with a new home screen Search widget.
Sharing Digital Car Key

You can now share compatible digital car keys with other Google Pixel Phones and even iPhones via the digital wallet app.
Better Android features for Google TV

Users can now cast content directly to their TV using the Google TV app with a single press of a button. You can browse videos and other content on your phone while there’s something playing on the TV. Plus, you can also use the app as a remote control
New features for Wear OS

Google has also added new features for Wear OS smartwatches. For one, the UI now has Tiles that lets you easily navigate and access apps like Google Maps, Weather, contacts, and more. Addidas Running also gets Google Assistant voice command support, while Google Keep now has a look more suitable for smartwatch displays.
