Nokia brings another entry-level smartphone to the Philippines for those who are on a tight budget. Meet the Nokia C2 2nd Edition.
Introduced back in February, the Nokia C2 2nd Edition is powered by an unnamed MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It also comes with 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage and an option between 1GB and 2GB of RAM — memory capacities that we thought were long gone.
Complimenting the underpowered hardware is the power-efficient Android 11 Go Edition. As per the company’s website, it will only get 2 years of quarterly security patches, with no mention of big OS updates, so don’t expect Android 12 on this device.

Still, the device could appeal to those who are longing for small phones. At 5.7-inches, the 2nd Edition should feel really compact in the hands.
Still, everything else screams low-end. There’s only a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel on the back. We also have a small 2,400mAh battery that still charges via microUSB.

The Nokia C2 2nd Edition has a price of Php4,790 in the Philippines. The unit we’re getting here is the 2GB RAM model with the standard 32GB storage.
