The Nothing Phone 3a is now out and the Philippines are one of the first countries to get it.
Sharing a lot of similarities with the 3a Pro, the vanilla Nothing Phone 3a uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, and 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging.
What the cheaper price meant was the omission of the periscope-style 3x telephoto lens. Instead, you’re getting a 2x zoom that should be great for portraits but still uses a 50-megapixel sensor. They also dropped the selfie camera to 32-megapixel from 50-megapixel.
The 50-megapixel main shooter is the same, as well as the 8-megapixel ultra-wide.
It also got the new Essential Key, a new button under the power button. Unlike Apple’s Camera Control, this one is programmable and is actually designed for productivity. You can capture and send content to the accompanying Essential Space.
Like most brands today, Nothing promised extensive software support for the Nothing Phone 3 series. This one is guaranteed to receive 3 major upgrades and 6 years of security patches.
The Nothing Phone 3a 8GB/128GB has a price of Php19,990 while the 12GB/256GB retails for Php22,490. It will be available for pre-order from March 8 to 12 and will hit store shelves on the 29th at select Digital Walker branches.
Reserved units will come with a free clear case, Nothing Waterproof Cross-body bag, Nothing Sticker, and CMF Buds.
