Infinix is at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona and introduced two new smartphone technologies: SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology and E-Color Shift 2.0.
Let’s first talk about the Infinix SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology, which will utilize ambient light sources to extend a smartphone’s battery life. It combines advanced perovskite photovoltaic technology and AI algorithms to create a backup power source for power outages or emergencies.

The tech is currently tested on a prototype smartphone and phone case. Infinix developed an advanced AI-driven algorithm to fine-tune the power acquisition in real time. Currently, it has an efficient energy storage of up to 2W, with the potential to improve in the future.
Infinix also envisions bringing this tech to other devices and wearables. For now, they are expected to arrive at the upcoming Infinix NOTE 50 series.

Moreover, the company also introduced the Infinix E-Color Shift 2.0. This AI-driven customization feature lets you customize the rear panel of your device with dynamic, interactive color transitions based on your own preferences and external scenarios.
Users can choose from six design patterns and six color palettes that create 30 unique combinations. It can also use AI to intelligently adjust the design based on the weather, wallpapers, and surroundings.
