OnePlus has released the refresh to their sub-flagship line, the OnePlus 13R.
The OnePlus 13R is now powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. OnePlus bumped the battery to 6,000mAh (from 5,500mAh) but dialed down the charging speed to 80W (from 100W).
It then has a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, fancy 10-bit color, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and 4500 nits of peak brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
One of the biggest upgrades here is the 50-megapixel telephoto camera that uses a JN5 sensor from Samsung. It has a 47mm focal length for 2x zoom. No optical image stabilization, though.
The only camera with stabilization is the 50-megapixel main shooter that uses an LYT-700 sensor, which can also record 4K videos at 60fps. It is joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
OnePlus also highlights its IP65 dust and water resistance, the latest WiFi 7 standard, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The OnePlus 13R is available in the United States with a 12GB/256GB configuration for USD599.99 (~Php35,000). It is available in India for INR42,999 (~Php29,200), together with a 16GB/512GB variant for INR49,999 (~Php34,000).
In the Philippines, the device is now up for pre-order from January 10 to 15 in Digital Walker with a discounted price of Php35,990 and free OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W Dual Ports power adapter and Nord Buds 3. It has an SRP of Php38,990.
