From launching only one phone per year, OnePlus now have substantially more releases than before. Now, they have a new one announced in China, the Ace 2V.
The new OnePlus Ace 2V offers a pretty compelling set of specs for the price. For starters, it comes with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor, paired with Mali-G710 MC10 graphics, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of non-expandable storage.
Matching the capable CPU is a colorful AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz and a large size of 6.74 inches. It also offers 10-bit color and Asahi Glass protection. There’s a fingerprint scanner underneath the screen while the audio is provided by the stereo speakers.
On the top is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. While on the back, a 64-megapixel main shooter with bright f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro lens make up the triple camera setup. They all sit on a back cover protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The battery has a 5,000mAh capacity, no surprises there. Use the 80W adapter to charge it from 0% and you’re done in just 32 minutes.
All this hardware is crammed inside a pretty chunky device. It weighs 191.5g and is 8.15mm thick.
The OnePlus Ace 2V comes in tons of RAM and storage configurations: 12GB/256GB for CNY2,299 (~Php18,200), 16GB/256GB for CNY2,499 (~Php19,800), and 16GB/512GB for the top-of-the-line CNY2,799 (~Php22,100). They will be available in China come March 13 and may arrive in markets like the Philippines with a different name.
