OPPO has released a new budget phone in India — and possibly the rest of the world in the future — called the OPPO A3x.
The new OPPO A3x shares a lot of similarities with the also-new OPPO A3. Only this time, it has a higher 120Hz refresh rate but a lower-resolution 8-megapixel (from 50-megapixel) main camera. It also lacks a 256GB storage option, but there’s a lower 64GB variant.
Other than that, everything else seems to be the same. It is still powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, has a 5,100mAh battery, and a speedy 45W fast charging.
There’s also a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display, 300% volume booster mode, IP54 dust and splash resistance, and a MIL-STD-810H rating for being shock resistant.
Those who are in India can get the OPPO A3x 4GB/64GB model for a price of INR12,499 (~Php8,400) while the 4GB/128GB variant retails for INR13,499 (~Php9,000). Release details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
