OPPO Philippines’ latest budget smartphone, the OPPO A5 Pro, is now here, and it comes in 4G and 5G options to accommodate different budgets.
While they are essentially the same, the OPPO A5 Pro 5G and A5 Pro 4G are different in a few obvious ways. For starters, the 5G model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 256GB of RAM, while the latter uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chip with 128GB of storage.
The 5G model also enjoys a smoother 120Hz refresh rate while the 4G model settles for 90Hz. The 5G variant comes in a Bloom Pink colorway while the other has an Olive Green option. Both models come with the same Mocha Brown option.
Other than that, both models come with a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and stereo speakers. There’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top, while on the back, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor.
Keeping the lights on is the large 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W SUPERVOOC wired charging.
OPPO also highlights its durability features. The A5 Pro series is IP69 dust and water-resistant, can be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, and exposed to hot water splashes of up to 80°C.
The OPPO A5 Pro 5G 8GB/256GB has an SRP of Php15,999 while the 4G-only OPPO A5 Pro 8GB/128GB has a price of Php10,999. They are now available on Shopee Philippines with a free shipping voucher and 0% interest at SPayLater until March 28.
