After confirming the upcoming arrival of the new OPPO F17 Pro in India, the company has now released a promotional video which revealed its design and camera setup.
OPPO calls it as the “sleekest phone of 2020,” probably because it’s only 7.64mm thin and weighs 164g. The complete specifications of the F17 series are yet to be revealed, but it confirms the product’s new design.
Based on the video, we saw that the OPPO F17 series will have a pill-shaped hole on the top-left part of the screen for two front cameras. And as expected, there are four cameras on the back with an LED flash.
Another important thing to note from the video is the number of color options. There’s a total of six, although we still don’t know which is the regular F17 and the Pro version. The title of the video says OPPO F17 Pro, though, so it’s probably just the Pro variant.
We also noticed the inclusion of the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is placed on the left side of its USB Type-C port at the bottom. No fingerprint scanner on the side and back, which hints that it’s likely an in-display one.
Not a lot of information are available for the OPPO F17 series right now, but we expect to get more leaks and teasers in the coming weeks before its launch in India next month. As for the Philippines launch, there are no announcements yet.
