OPPO just released the Find N2 Flip, which is its first clamshell foldable phone.
Obviously, the OPPO Find N2 Flip will go against the popular Galaxy Z Flip, P50 Pocket, and RAZR 2022. To make it stand out, OPPO’s entry has a larger 3.62-inch cover display that can display time, notifications, weather, and QR codes, and allows you to use the main cameras for selfies.
Of course, the main highlight here is the tall 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED screen. It uses LTPO technology, with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and 1,600-nits peak brightness.
The aforementioned camera is a fancy 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor from Sony, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. There’s also a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a MariSilion X chip for image processing.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus processor and can be had with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It has a 4,300mAh battery, which is one of the biggest for a flip phone. There’s also a 44W adapter for fast charging. Sadly, it doesn’t have an IP rating for dust or water protection.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip has a price of CNY5,999 (~Php48,100), CNY6,399 (~Php51,300), and CNY6,999 (~Php56,100) for the 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB models, respectively. They are now up for pre-order in China while release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
