OPPO has a “cheaper” version of their current flagship line-up with the new OPPO Find X2 Lite — which was subtly put up in OPPO’s Portugal website.

The new OPPO Find X2 Lite is definitely a toned-down version of the premium Find X2 and X2 Pro. For starters, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 765 5G, the next best Qualcomm processor to the Snapdragon 865 that its bigger brothers have.

There’s an 8GB of RAM for multitasking and 128GB for all your apps and media. The latest processor also enabled its 5G connectivity with antennas all around for 360-degree signal reception.

A 4,025mAh battery will keep the lights on, with a 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support. It may not be as fast as the 65W charging that the flagship Find X2 devices have, but it’s still relatively fast for a midrange device as it can provide a 50% charge in just 20 minutes. The webpage didn’t mention any wireless charger, though.

To further cut the cost down, the 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED screen on the OPPO Find X2 Lite will feature a notch instead of a punch-hole. This is where the pixel-packed 32-megapixel selfie camera will peek through.

OPPO also needed to downgraded the cameras on the back. The Find X2 Lite now only has a 48-megapixel primary shooter, with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for monochrome and portrait shots, respectively.
