OPPO has introduced two new flagship devices for 2022. One of them is the Find X5.
Launched alongside the Pro model, the OPPO Find X5 will also feature Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration and an in-house 6nm MariSilicon X NPU for image processing. It also shares the same 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging.
To set it apart from the more expensive model, the non-Pro model will have toned-downed yet still impressive flagship specs. For one, it’s powered by last-gen’s Snapdragon 888 processor instead of the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
It also has a smaller and non-LTPO 6.55-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ pixel resolution instead of QHD+. On the upside, it still has a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera sensors are the same. There are two Sony IMX766 for the main and ultra-wide lenses as well as a 13-megapixel for the telephoto shooter. OIS for the main camera is still here, albeit not the 5-axis one that the Pro variant gets to enjoy.
It also has a smaller 4,800mAh, versus the 5,000mAh on the Pro model. The fast charging was also dropped to 30W AirVOOC compared to the Pro’s 50W. The device also lacks an official IP rating for water and dust resistance.
The OPPO Find X5 has a price of EUR999 (around Php57,500), an acceptable drop over the Pro model’s EUR1,299 SRP (around Php74,700).
