OPPO has released a sequel to the Pad Air in China. The new OPPO Pad Air2 offers midrange specs and, as the name suggests, a thin and light body.
The OPPO Pad Air2 features a sharp 11.4-inch 2.4K display with a high 90Hz refresh rate, a decent 400 nits of brightness, and a 7:5 aspect ratio. Audio is provided by the four speakers in a stereo setup.

Under the hood, it is powered by the trusty MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the top of the display, which is a similar sensor found on the back.
Keeping the lights on is an 8000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO claims that the battery can last for up to 13.5 hours of offline video playback. Sadly, it still runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.

The OPPO Pad Air2 has a price of CNY1,299 (~Php10,600) and CNY1,499 (~Php12,300) for the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB versions, respectively. It’s now up for pre-order in China and will hit store shelves on May 31. No word yet if it will be available in the Philippines and other markets.
