OPPO Philippines just brought one new Reno device into the country. We’ll be taking a look at one of them, the Reno 8 Z 5G.
If it looks familiar, that’s because the OPPO Reno 8 Z 5G is just a rebranded Reno 7 Z 5G. It is same exact device that we already have here in the Philippines since March.
That said, everything else is the same. It is still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, has an 8GB and 128GB of RAM and storage configuration, and a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
It then has a fancy 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display, but only with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Also, thanks to its OLED panel, it managed to have an advanced under-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back, we have OPPO’s signature Dual Orbit Lights, which puts LEDs on the two camera lenses and light up when you receive notifications.
Speaking of which, we have a 64-megapixel shooter back here, joined by a 2-megapixel macro and a depth sensor. A punch-hole on the screen holds the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The OPPO Reno 8 Z 5G has the same price of Php19,999 in the Philippines. If you want something entirely new, you can check out the Reno 8 5G, albeit it costs more at Php27,999.
