Tech giant OPPO released its newest addition to the Reno Series, the OPPO Reno Ace. With features like a fast 90Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and quad cameras, it is sure to be their newest top tier smartphone.
Talking more about the specs, the OPPO Reno Ace has a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with an impressive 90Hz refresh rate — a first in any OPPO device.
On the front, the 16-megapixel selfie camera can be seen on the waterdrop-like design, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner and dual firing speaker.
A 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 serves as the main shooter. A 13-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor can be seen on the backside of the device.

Taking a look inside, the OPPO Reno Ace is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 885+ with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. It also uses OPPO’s ColorOS 6.1 on top of Andriod 10. For the gamers, OPPO added a heat dissipation pipe for optimal cooling to make sure users will have a smooth experience.
Some of the more standard features are a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and dual-frequency GPS. A boasting feature and primary selling point of the latest device, however, is its super-fast 65W charger using the latest Super VOOC 2.0 fast charge technology. So fully charging the 4,000mAh battery will take less time than usual.
Available colors of the OPPO Reno Ace will come in Psychedelic Purple and Starry Blue. Price starts at USD422 (Php ~21,700) for the 8GB/128GB model, USD450 (Php ~23,200) for the 8GB/256GB and for the highest spec’d 12GB/256GB model, it is priced at USD534 (Php ~27,500).
Along with the latest release, OPPO also announced a limited-edition 40th anniversary Gundam Edition to the OPPO Reno Ace. The special edition comes with themed accessories and custom paint jobs on the back of the phone.
