With a goal of providing “mobile computing solutions purpose-built for the way people work,” Panasonic has introduced an addition to their collection of rugged smartphones and tablets, the all-new Toughbook FZ-T1 and FZ-L1.
In nature, rugged smartphones and tablets are built and designed to be used in industrial settings, allowing them to be able to stand in any state or weather.
The Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 has a 5-inch HD (1280×720) screen and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 with 2GB RAM and it runs on a recent Android 8.1 Oreo.
Meanwhile, the 7-inch Panasonic Toughbook FZ-L1 is very similar with the T1 model in terms of specifications, both with IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810G 5-feet drop survivability. Both devices are compatible with 1D/2D barcode reader, but the Toughbook T1 has it built-in, while the Panasonic Toughbook L1 offers it as an additional configuration.
Another surprising thing about this Toughbook series is its tear-jerking price. Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 and FZ-L1 price starts at an astounding $1,499 or around Php79,000.
