Google’s latest line of smartphones gets its most affordable member, the Pixel 9a.
The Pixel 9a runs on the same Tensor G4 processor like the Pixel 9, 9 Pro series, and the 9 Pro Fold. It is paired with a special Titan M2 security chip, 8GB of RAM, and an option between 128GB and 256GB of storage.
On the front is a flat 6.3-inch pOLED screen with a FHD+ resolution, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 1800-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It then has a flat aluminum frame and a flat polycarbonate rear panel with a clean pill-shaped camera island. It holds a 48-megapixel main camera with a bright f/1.7 aperture, with optical iamge stabilization and Quad Phase-Detection Dual Pixel autofocus.
We also have a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies. It gains Macro Focus and Astrophotography features.
For the battery, we have a 5,100mAh capacity paired with 23W wired and Qi wireless charging. It will ship with Android 15 out of the box and will receive 7 years of software upgrades and security patches. It goes without saying Google’s abundant AI suite are also here.
The Pixel 9a will be available in the US and select markets this April with a starting price of USD499 (~Php28,600).
