Handheld gaming brand Ayaneo recently unveiled its brand-new flagship Android handheld gaming console, the AYANEO Pocket S2, during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 in San Francisco, USA.
The AYANEO Pocket S2 will be the first Android handheld gaming console powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, which improves its CPU performance by 30% and boosts its GPU performance by 28% compared to its predecessor.

The updated gaming platform supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution.
It also features a 6.3-inch screen with a 1440p IPS HD TrueColor Display for superior color accuracy and brightness, allowing gamers to play a range of mobile games with great graphics.

With Wi-Fi 7, the Pocket S2 will also ensure faster and more reliable network connectivity.
According to AYANEO, the Pocket S2 is equipped with the largest battery among Android handhelds of its size and supports fast charging. The battery type and capacity are yet to be announced. The earlier version, Pocket S1, had 6,000mAh.

The Pocket S2 features an ultra-large heat sink and an active cooling fan, providing a fully optimized cooling system for improved heat dissipation and high-performance gaming.
It’s built with a CNC all-metal frame, offering a mix of aesthetics and a metallic texture. Its ergonomic, curved body design perfectly fits the palm, providing a more comfortable gaming session.

The Pocket S2 has an upgraded Hall Joystick and Hall Linear trigger for improved control precision. It’s also equipped with dual X-axis monitors and immersive vibration feedback for a more realistic gaming experience.
The Pocket S2 comes with the pre-installed AYANEO Android handheld management software suite, AYASpace + AYAHome, for a one-stop solution for game management and performance adjustment.

The AYANEO Pocket S2’s pricing and availability have not yet been revealed. For reference, the Pocket S was previously priced at USD589.00 (~Php33,500).
