After teasing it for quite some time, the new Realme 10 has been finally announced.
The new Realme 10 switches to a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor from its predecessor’s Snapdragon 680. The company brags that it got a 400,000 score in AnTuTu, which is 40% higher than last year’s model. You can pair it with 8GB of RAM with up to 8GB virtual RAM support and can be had with up to 256GB of storage.
On the front, we have a fast and vibrant 90Hz refresh rate screen that uses a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel. There’s also the 360Hz touch sampling rate for better responsiveness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 1,000-nits peak brightness.
A punch-hole on the top left of the screen holds the 16-megapixel selfie snapper. While on the back, there’s the 50-megapixel JN1 camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Sadly, the ultra-wide lens has been left out and the main shooter was dropped from a 108-megapixel sensor.
Keeping the lights on is the standard 5,000mAh battery, paired with a 33W charger. Realme claims that a 28-minute charge can already provide 50% of juice and can go from 0% to full in just 70 minutes.
While it does have an AMOLED panel, Realme settles for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on this one for security. Software is handled by the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
The Realme 10 8GB/128GB has a price of Php12,999 in the Philippines for the 8GB/128GB model while the 8GB/256GB is at Php14,999. You can pre-order top-tier model from November 26 to December 2 to get a free Realme Cobble Bluetooth speaker valued at Php1,590.
