In the market for a budget-friendly smartphone for work or school? Check out the new Realme C30, which just made its way to the Philippines.

For a quick recap, the Realme C30 first came out in India back in June carrying a UNISOC T612 octa-core processor. It had a 3GB of RAM option, but the one we’re getting here only has 2GB. It is paired with 32GB of expandable storage.

On the front, we have a standard 6.5-inch HD+ screen with 120Hz… touch sampling. Yep, as it only has a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Another standard but welcome inclusion is the 5,000mAh battery that should easily last you for a day or two of light to moderate use. Charging is done by the included 10W adapter.

Not the sharpest, but Realme included an acceptable set of cameras. There are 5-megapixels on the front and a single 8-megapixel sensor on the back.

It ships with the latest Android 12 operating system with an efficient Realme UI Go Edition on top. Oh, and let’s not forget about the unique suitcase design for the blue and green colors, while the black variant has an equally interesting look.
