A new entry-level device joins the realme C series. Here we have the realme C61, which has the most basic specs you can think of, but with one durability feature to spice things up.
The new realme C61 is powered by a UNISOC T612 processor with an option between 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage.

A 6.5-inch HD+ IPS screen is on the front, which managed to get a high 90Hz refresh rate. It also has to have a pair of speakers in a stereo setup for good audio.
Providing power is the 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims can retain 80% of its battery health even after 1,000 charging cycles.

For the cameras, we have an 8-megapixel shooter on the front and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back joined by a depth sensor.
What makes it special is that realme claims it’s “tough as steel” with an unmentioned reinforced glass that helped it receive a TUV Rheinland high-reliability certification.

The realme C61 is available in 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB configurations for a price of INR7,699 (~Php5,400), INR8,499 (~Php5,900), and INR8,999 (~Php6,300), respectively. They will be available in India starting June 28 with release details in the Philippines yet to be known.
