realme Philippines just launched a new entry-level smartphone in the country. Called the realme C65, it boasts fast charging, an ultra-slim design, Air Gestures, and more.
The new realme C65 comes with a whopping 45W SUPERVOOC charging, which realme claims can provide a 0-50% charge in just half an hour. For safe charging, the device is equipped with 38 safety protections and Smart Charge Technology.
It has a 5,000mAh battery, which they say can last for up to 16.6 hours of video playback and 8.3 hours of playing games. realme is also highlighting its TUV Rheinland Fluency rating of 48 months. That means it can last for 4 years without lags.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a 5G-less chipset. That unit we got here has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The new C65 comes with a bright design that’s available in Starlight Purple and Starlight Black. It is IP54 dust and splash-resistant, has a rainwater smart touch feature so you can still use it even if the screen is wet.
Air Gestures is also here that lets you control the device just by hovering on the front of the selfie camera. The lock/power button also doubles as the Dynamic Button that gives you access to your chosen function (flashlight, mute, camera, etc.) just by tapping.
On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main camera joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An 8-megapixel selfie shooter is on the front, sitting on top of the 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Finally, we have the Android 14-based realme UI 5.0 handling the software.
The realme C65 has an SRP of Php9,999 in the Philippines and is now available in physical stores nationwide and online via TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
