realme Philippines adds a new contender to the entry-level market in the country, the new realme C75x.
Durability is the current buzzword in the industry — even on budget phones today — and the realme C75x definitely has it. This one is IP66/68/69-rated for dust and water resistance. realme claims it can be submerged up to 2 meters of water depth for up to 60 hours.
It also has a SonicWave Water Ejection that vibrates the speakers in a unique way to flush out water. The device is also MIL-STD-810H certified after it survived 1.8-meter drop tests, 150 drops from a height of 0.6 meters, and drop tests from simulated scenes.
realme’s ArmorShell Proteciton consists of components like a metal inner frame and internal airbag design.
Another highlight feature is the 5,600mAh battery that lasts for up to 12.7 hours of video playback and 7.8 hours of gaming. Charging is done via the 45W SUPERVOOC adapter that can fully charge the device in 90 minutes.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, which realme said got an AnTuTu Benchmark score of 283,033. It also handles the brand’s NEXT Ai suite that includes Ai Clear Face, Ai Smart Loop, Circle to Search, AI Boost, and of course, Google Gemini.
On the front, we have a 6.67-inch HD+ display, with a high 120Hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. Albeit, it only has a single bottom-firing speaker, but does come with a 400% volume booster.
A 5-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, and on the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main shooter with two unknown accomplices.
The realme C75x 8GB/128GB has an SRP of Php7,999 in the Philippines. From March 30 to April 6, you can get it from realme’s TikTok Shop for only Php6,067.
