Realme’s Narzo brand is getting two new budget 5G smartphones, the Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G.
Let’s take a look at the more exciting model, the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G. This one is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor, which you can pair with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, but with a single 128GB storage option.
Meant for gaming, the device is equipped with a 5-layer cooling system that covers 100% of the components that creates heat.
On the front, there’s a premium 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a fast 90Hz refresh rate that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Since it’s an OLED panel, it also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for a more premium feel.
For the ultimate multimedia and gaming experience, the Narzo 50 Pro comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies.
A punch-hole sits on the top right corner of the screen for the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
On the back, we have an iPhone 13-like camera layout that houses the 48-megapixel main snapper, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a macro lens.
As a cherry on top, the Narzo 50 series will ship with the latest Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 operating system.
The Realme Narzo 50 Pro come in two models: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB for a price of INR21,999 (around Php14,800) and INR23,999 (around Php16,200), respectively. It will be available in India starting May 26.

Meanwhile, the Realme Narzo 50 5G is a nice compromise over the Pro model. This one is powered by a Dimensity 810 processor and comes in three RAM and storage combinations.
It also swaps the AMOLED panel for an IPS screen, which means that we’re getting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of an in-display one. Still, it has a 90Hz refresh rate and is actually slightly bigger at 6.6-inches.
You can easily tell them apart by looking at the back. The non-Pro variant only has the same main camera and a monochrome lens, no ultra-wide.
Still, it runs on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0, stereo speakers, has a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.
The Realme Narzo 50 5G comes in 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB for INR15,999 (around Php10,800), INR16,999 (around Php11,500), and INR17,999 (around Php12,100), respectively. Release details of both devices in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
