Android 13, the operating system that will run on a lot of devices next year, has been unveiled. Along with this, OEMs have also launched their respective interfaces that will sit on top of the new big update.

One of them is Realme, who will launch the Realme UI 4.0 update this December 8. Today, we’ll be showing you the new features you should get excited about and when your device will get it.

Realme UI 4.0 new features

First, let’s talk about the new features present in Realme UI 4.0. Then, we’ll show you the roll-out schedule for the global device. Let’s begin.

Card-style layout

One of the biggest visual improvements to Android 13 is card-based layouts, which Realme also incorporates into its own UI. This means that things are now grouped intuitively together. Important information is separated from less important ones.

Smarter Always-on display

The Realme UI 4.0 has a smarter Always-on display (AOD) feature for a more personalized experience. It now has interactive panels like music controls, recommendations, and even emoji animations to take full advantage of your OLED display.

Better performance

Realme UI 4.0 is launching a feature called Dynamic Computing Engine, which can reportedly boost a device’s overall performance by 10%. It also provides 4.7% longer battery life when gaming and 1°C lower peak temperatures.

Improved privacy

The company is releasing a new feature called the Private Safe tool for Realme UI 4.0, which can encrypt your personal data and files. There’s also the Auto Pixelate feature that can automatically see sensitive data on screenshots and images and censor it.
