Redmi Note 11T Pro, 11T Pro Plus: Dimensity 8100, variable refresh rate

Xiaomi’s sub-brand just released their latest smartphones for those who want more from a mid-range device. Check out the new Redmi Note 11T Pro and 11T Pro Plus.

First, let’s take a look at the higher-end Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus, which boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor. This means that the device comes with 5G connectivity, as everyone from this price range should. It is mated to 8GB of RAM and an option between two generous storage variants: 256GB and 512GB.

Another key highlight is the screen. What we have here is an enormous and blazing fast 6.6-inch IPS panel that has a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. It’s variable, too, as it can drop up to 30Hz for better battery efficiency.

We also have a clean design on the back, which shares the same design language as its cousins. It comes in three colors: Time Blue, Atomic Silver, and Time Blue. Xiaomi is also offering a special Astro Boy limited edition model that’s based on the popular manga character.

There are two large lenses that sit on an island on the top left. The main one uses a 64-megapixel ISOCELL GW1 sensor from Samsung, while the other is the usual 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. A smaller lens hosts the 2-megapixel macro lens.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,400mAh battery that was split into two cells to handle its impressive 120W charging support.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro 8GB/128GB and 8GB/512GB models have a price of CNY2,099 (around Php16,400) and CNY2,499 (around Php19,600), respectively, and will be available starting May 31 in China. The Astro Boy version will have an 8GB/512GB configuration for the same price.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11T Pro is essentially the same device. It shares the same display, cameras, and processor.

Only this time, the non-Plus variant will only have 67W fast charging but a bigger two-cell 5,080mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro also has lower 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB RAM and storage configurations, which will retail in China for CNY1,799 (14,100), CNY1,999 (around Php15,700), and CNY2,199 (around Php17,200), respectively. Release details for the Redmi Note 11T Pro series in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
