Samsung has officially revealed the newest members of the midrange A-series — the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus.
The two handsets are equipped with Super AMOLED panels with the Infinity 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The standard A6 has a smaller screen size of 5.6-inch and lower HD+ resolution, while the bigger Galaxy A6+ has 6-inch and Full HD+.
On the back, the two devices share a 16-megapixel rear sensor with f/1.7 aperture, but the A6 Plus has a supporting 5-megapixel camera with Live Focus mode for bokeh and depth of field effects. In front, the Galaxy A6 and A6+ feature 16-megapixel and 24-megapixel front-facing cameras with LED flash, respectively.

Design-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus and A6 have improved durability and better ergonomics for a more comfortable grip. Security features like the fingerprint scanner and facial recognition are also here to make things easier for the user. Samsung’s proprietary Always on Display is also on these phones, so users can quickly access information at a glance without the need to unlock their devices. Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus are scheduled to be released this May in select markets like Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Afterward, it will be rolled out to the rest of the world. Samsung is still mum about the pricing of these two models as of the moment.
